Trip to Seville: Master’s in Law Applied to Professional Football

The master’s students made a trip to Seville with the aim of learning about the legal and organizational aspects of Real Betis Balompié and Sevilla FC as well as their sports facilities.
The students of the Master’s in Law Applied to Professional Football visited Seville on April 14, where they visited the facilities of Real Betis Balompié and Sevilla FC, as well as having attended a presentation focused on legal issues in both clubs.
The students arrived in Seville at approximately 10:30 a.m. to visit the Benito Villamarín Stadium, home of Real Betis Balompié, where they took a guided tour of the venue. Next, the students moved to the Club's Sports City, where they also visited the facilities. Subsequently, the Legal Department of Real Betis Balompié, among whom were José Ruiz and Miguel Donézar, gave a presentation on the Organization and functions of the legal services of a Professional Football Club. After taking a break to eat, the students went to the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán stadium, where, after taking a guided tour of the stadium facilities, they received a presentation by Jesús Arroyo. Deputy General Director of Sevilla FC, whose theme was: Sevilla FC sports and corporate project. History, stages, strategic pillars, business model and upcoming projects.
Thus, the day in Seville ended and the students returned to Madrid at 6:45 p.m. Without a doubt, this was a visit of great academic and educational value for the students since they were able to listen and learn from the experience of industry professionals.
