The students of the Master in Global Sports Marketing, visited Andalusia, in order to continue learning from inside the industry.
The students of the Master in Global Sports Marketing, visited Andalusia, with the aim of continuing to learn from the inside the ins and outs of the companies and projects that lead the sports and entertainment industry.
This time our students made a three-day trip, which began with a visit to the Andalusian Institute of Sport (IAD), where they attended a presentation on the organization of the popular triathlon "Iron Man", from how it is structured from the inside to how to organize a macro sporting event as multitudinous as this.
The second stop was at the headquarters of Málaga Club de Fútbol, where they were presented with the genuine project, which through the MCF Foundation, created the most ambitious and longed-for project of the club, an Intellectual Disability Football School, whose team is part of LaLiga Genuine.
They also spoke with the club's marketing department about the day-to-day work of the department and how they deal with and manage crisis situations from the inside.
On their second day, they visited BeSoccer, a soccer news, results and statistics website where they can find any information about competitions, teams or players worldwide. There, they learned firsthand how a success story like BeSoccer is born and managed.
Finally, our students visited the Benito Villamarín (Real Betis Balompié stadium) and the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán (Sevilla Club de Fútbol stadium) and the Nuevo Mirandilla stadium (Cádiz Club de Fútbol). During these visits they received various presentations on the operation and management of the clubs accompanied by real case studies.
