Master's Degree in Football Law passes judgment in Switzerland

July 19, 2022, Madrid

The most important bodies and committees in Europe open their doors to our students of the Master of Law Applied to Professional Football.

Our students of the Master of Law Applied to Professional Football traveled to Switzerland last June, Zurich and Lausanne served as hosts for a trip inside the most important bodies of European sport.

The main objective of the program was to learn about the structure, management and decision making of the main decision-making bodies of European sport. FIFA, UEFA, the International Olympic Committee, International Cycling Union, were some of the highlights of the program.

Each of the visits was an opportunity to get to know and learn from the inside the impact that law has on international sport. During each visit our law team received different presentations on current issues given by different specialist lawyers. Among the speakers were Emilio García Silvero, FIFA's legal director, Carlos Schneider, FIFA's head of litigation, and Antonio de Quesada, counsel at the CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport).

Traveling opens the mind and is undoubtedly a golden opportunity for our students to see the real professions they are studying for. For them to know the day to day of what in the future will be their job. Thank you very much Switzerland and to all the European organizations and committees that welcomed us during the week for being part of LaLiga Business School.
