July 19, 2022, Madrid

The growth of the sports industry brings new opportunities, we must be prepared, join the challenge!

The sports industry does not stop, during the last few years clubs have managed to increase their income, thanks to their good management, thus arising new opportunities and needs that require a high level of behavior.

Therefore, LaLiga, through its education department, LaLiga Business School, has developed an exclusive technical course for soccer clubs. The objective is to make them understand everything that the concept of sustainability implies for a sports organization: what it is, why it is important, what advantages it implies and what actions are relevant to integrate sustainability in their day-to-day work. In this course, sports clubs and organizations will find help to achieve the integration of sustainability in their management, in all areas.

The program was divided into three main blocks, Good Governance (block 1), Social Factor (block 2) and Environment (block 3). Combining streaming sessions with face-to-face sessions at LaLiga's headquarters and in different stadiums of first division clubs, San Mamés Stadium (Bilbao), Benito Villamarín Stadium (Seville) and Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium (Seville).

It is not only a question of responsibility; sustainable management is becoming established as the only way to carry out an activity. Organizations that add up will be better prepared for the future and more likely to be successful in the long term. Join the challenge!
