A figure that has grown in importance over the last few years, they know everything that happens both inside and outside the stadiums every day, with the aim of providing the spectator with the best experience and spectacle. So, what are the functions of a match director? They are in charge of controlling all the details that occur during a soccer match. Supervising the application of the Regulations for Television Broadcasting and other established protocols, reporting to LaLiga any type of incident that may occur during the development of the match.

Among his responsibilities are the control of operators and journalists, interventions and interviews, advertising in the stadiums, supervision of the turf, lighting, etc.
